Maureen kept the bar high when it came to teaching and learning. Her breed was a rare one! My memories include wonderfully intense discussions at the McNulty kitchen table on Friday nights with Mom, John Noddin and other neighbors. Maureen was such a bright woman! Mom and I have been chatting so much lately about those fun times on Landsdowne, and of course the visits from the MacDonald clan were something we also looked forward to. Please look us up should any of you come to Calgary. We are sorry for your loss and pray you will find comfort in memories of happy times spent with Maureen. Love, Sue and Marie

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Miss Dunphy. She was my homeroom teacher at St. Rose school back in the 1970s and she prepared us well in terms of English for high school. I later went into teaching as well and as the years went on I respected her professionalism even more. She had an impact on a large number of young people.

My condolences to the family of Miss Dunphy. What a legacy she has left behind for you all. She was my Grade 7 teacher at St.Rose and what a wonderful teacher she was....I distinctly remember her leaving the classroom for a few minutes back in 1963 then returning seemingly quite agitated and then she broke the news that JFK had been shot. It's funny how those memories from so very long ago still hold dear. I know that she will be watching over each and every one of you. May God bless you all and may she rest in peace.
