Condolences
We are so sorry we could not be with you in your time of need. One of the most amazing people we had the pleasure of meeting has gone on before us to make way for us and to also rest with the most important people in her life, Reg, her baby brother who she cherished, her young and handsome great grandson, who is missed so much, her lovely son in-law, who is always talked so highly of and last the two people that she has not seen in several years, the people who made her who she was her mom and dad. Enjoy your family reunion my best friend Ida, until we meet again. God speed and rest in that beautiful place you always talked to us about. Love and miss you John and Nancy

I just found out this morning that my special friend Ida Passed on Tuesday. I will miss her at all my programs at York care centre. She had such a refreshing spirit and a warm heart. I am afraid my wife and I will be in Middleton Nova Scotia for the weekend and will not be able to attend Ida's wake and funeral. We will not be back in Fredericton till Wednesday.
Ida always thanked me for after every program and told me she loved me.She always knew she was a special friend. She was a unique person and I will miss her. I know she will go right to heaven. I have asked my mom to meet her at the gate and welcome her.

Ida, dearest Ida .... not only will YOUR Gracie [you still have your Gracie Fairy made by BEADNIK] ... miss you so so so much .... but her 'Bubba' and ALL the children from Park Street Elementary School .... how will I ever ever ever do the weekly read-aloud without you amid the listeners? How will Gracie and I [Bubba] ever sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' anymore? Oh, Ida, we know exactly 'how' because YOU are OUR twinkling star amid the atmosphere, floating above us for ever and ever and always .... THANK YOU Ida for the many, many, many times of joy, laughter ... for the tales from the children's ward [oh, to have had you with Gracie Girl when she was in I.W.K.] ... all the walkabouts with Gracie pushing you along in your chair ... there remains within six year Gracie Girl and her BubbaJane ... a space that overflows whenever you are in our thoughts ... We were blessed to have had you in our lives the past three years ... blessed ... Shalom
Jane Stewart and her 'grand'daughter,
Grace Stewart

A few also said they would miss her always saying God bless as she leaves the programs she attended. So Ida your family at YCC will miss you dealy but you will now be safe and happy in Heaven.

Leslie,
I am truly saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Ida always had a nice smile and a few kind words for Mum and I whenever we crossed paths in York Manor. She seemed like a very gentle lady and I admired her upbeat, cheery personality. I will think of her whenever I take a walk through her area of the building.
My sympathy to you and your family.
