Stuart,
Brother, my thoughts are with you and your family. I am sure that your dedication and caring for your father will give you a great deal of comfort along with the memories of his life. We find so much in the lives of our parents that helps to guide us on our journeys. It is my misfortune to never have met your Dad. I am sure that your commitment and loyalty to friendship was influenced by the example that he set.

So sorry for your loss. I have a few memories of Joe from when he lived on the Supportive Housing Floor. The thing that stands out most is what a gentleman he was. Surround yourselves in beautiful memories.

John and I were very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was a close friend and he will be sincerely missed. Our heart-felt condolences to family.

I too think of Joe first and foremost as a gentleman. His easygoing manner, amused laugh, and quick wit made him a pleasure to know and work with. He was always game to try or learn something new, or ask for help if he needed it. And when he was through, he would always look you straight in the eye and smile, and say a very sincere "thank you." If sincerity had a face, it would be Joe's. Bless you Joe!

Dear Stuart and Eileen: So sorry to hear of your dad's passing, Stuart. I remember meeting him on several family occasions in Saint John and he was a very sweet and quiet soul. I know you spent many hours caring for him, and that you will miss your visits. Please hold the good memories in your heart and remember him as your dad, your friend, and someone you could always turn to. God Bless your grief, and please know we are thinking of you during this difficult time. See you at the cottage in PEI! Take care.
