Ronald Craggette

Craggette, Ronald – The death of Ronald Craggette of Quispamsis, husband of the late Frances "Peggy" Craggette, occurred on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born on June 14, 1936 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Gardie and Mildred Craggette. Ron was retired Senior Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, Ron was employed at Simms Brush Company for several years.

Survived by his daughters; Susan Chandler of Edmonton, AB, Terri Smith (Rob) of Guelph, ON, and Geraldine Gail (Sebastien) of Orleans, France, brothers; Floyd Craggette of Connellsville, PA, Fred Craggette and his wife Martha , of Long Island, New York, Robert Craggette and his wife, Grace, of Detroit, Michigan, Norman Craggette and his wife, Carol of Uniontown, PA, Donnie Craggette of Florida; and three sisters Irene Johnson and her husband, Joseph of Long Island, New York, Helen Bailey of Connellsville, PA, and Geraldine Williams and her husband Jimmy of Connellsville, Pennsylvania.  Grandchildren; Camille Nielsen, Tyler Craggette, Laetitia Maglo, Lindsey Gail, Willy Gail, and Rosane Gail, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents Ron was predeceased by his son, Ronald Craggette Jr, four sisters: Ester Watson, Florence Craggette, Bertha Walker and Pauline Ned; seven brothers, James, George, Lawrence, Kenny, Donald, Paul and Jackson Craggette. 

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 from St. Augustine’s Church, Westfield, NB at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
