M. Elisabeth Burbridge
It is with great sadness the family of Elisabeth (Noel) Burbridge, wife of the late Bernard Burbridge, announce her passing, which occurred on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Elisabeth was born on January 5, 1922 to the late Elizabeth Boudreau and Michael Noel. Elisabeth loved to sing, dance and loved to tell stories. The loves of her life were her husband and 12 children. She was devoted to her religion, prayers and her faith in God. Surviving are her children, Lydia Robichaud; Muriel Smith; Barbara (Donat) Mozerolle; Kathleen (Paul) Ram; Mathilda (Nelson) Ward; Martha (Dale) Dyer; Richard (Eileen) Burbridge; Frank (Jacquie) Burbridge; Robert (Linda) Burbridge; Pauline (Hector) Basque; and Henry (Wanda) Burbridge; brother, Levie Noel; 46 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Aside from her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son David Burbridge, 6 sisters, Lorette, Annie, Germaine, Genevieve, Mary, and Suzanne, and 3 children in infancy; two sons-in-law:Fred and Wellington. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St. Saint John, NB (634-1965) with visitation being held on Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church, 201 Bayside Drive, Saint John, NB on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 12:05 PM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Elisabeth may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
