Katherine Ann McCann

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Katherine Ann McCann of Saint John, NB, which occurred on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of Barbara (Chamberlain) and the late Alfred Joseph McCann. Katherine enjoyed walking and listening to music. Besides her mother she is survived by one son, Matthew Wayne Manuel (Ashley) of Saint John; one daughter, Kaylynn Alanna Manuel (Josh) of Norton; three brothers, John, Brian (Leona), Kevin (Jeannie); one sister Rosemary (Kevin) Hooley; five grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her father she was predeceased by one aunt, Marie Boucher.
By the request of Katherine there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 12:10 pm from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-7424).
