Irene Gallant

Gallant, Irene M. … It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Irene Mary Gallant of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Gelas Gallant which occurred on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Ernest Cormier and Alice (Hebert) Chamberlain. She is survived by her daughters: Kim (Joe Koty) Collins of Rothesay and Beverly Christiansen of Fredericton; Brother: Donald (Faye) Cormier of Saint John; Sisters Aldia Gallison of Ontario and Rita Cormier of Moncton; four grandchildren: Lisa, Stacy, Ashley and Brent; four great grandchildren: Kylie, Kyler, Isaiah, and Sebastian; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and her parents, Irene was predeceased by a great grandchild Kamden.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965), visitation will be held Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 12:10PM.
