Gary Nicholas Northrup

Northrup Gary N. – The family of Gary Nicholas Northrup wish to announce his peaceful passing after a lengthy illness, which occurred on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 16, 1964 he was a son of George Stanley Northrup Sr. and the late Bernadette Nora Northrup. Gary is survived by his father, George Stanley Northrup and siblings, Catherine (James) Tays of Bloomfield, Carmel (Richard) Frauley, George Jr. (Cindy) Northrup, Carolanne (Brian) McGivery, Cynthia Northrup all of Saint John and Cora Bourque of Surrey, BC; his children, Nicole, Ryan, Kyla; grandchildren, Nailah, Korbin, Kason and Tianna; along with his extended family and friends. Gary loved biking, playing hockey and baseball. Gary was predeceased by his best friend “Mama” his devoted mother Bernadette (Nickie) Northrup and his brother Glenn. The family wants to extend their utmost gratitude to the entire staff of 3DS of the Regional Hospital. The compassion that was given to Gary will never be forgotten.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) where a private family visitation will take place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:00 am from St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
