Geraldine Alice Kelly
The death of Geraldine Alice Kelly, wife of the late Donald P. Kelly occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Mrs. Kelly was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lucas of Chipman.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her only brother, James Lucas (Alice) and her sister, Sarah McQuade (Lorne); and brother-in-law, Angelo DiCarlo.

She is survived by her two sons, Warren (Betsy) of SK and Wayne (Isabel) of Mississauga, ON; six grandchildren; Ian (Jody), Alison (Jon), Lisa (Adam), Ross (Lillian), Heather (Ivan) and Michael (Megan); one great granddaughter; four great grandsons; a sister, Margaret DiCarlo of Minto, NB; as well as many special nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was a graduate of Chipman High School and Saint John Vocational School. She was a devoted wife and mother, moving many times throughout her and her husband’s military careers in the Royal Canadian Air Force.

With special thanks to beloved nieces, Juanita Watson and Joanne and husband Sunny Williams for love, care and support. Would also like to thank Assessments Plus, Patricia Creelman and the devoted care ladies who supported and allowed Gerri to remain at home in her apartment.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965) with visitation on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6-8 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute to a Veteran service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Cathedral Restoration Fund, War Amps, Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity of the donor’s choice.
