William "Billy" Patrick Flynn

It is with heavy hearts the family of William “Billy” Patrick Flynn announces his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital in the Palliative Care Unit on October 28, 2016. Born on December 14, 1948 in Saint John, NB, Billy was the son of Jim and Eileen Flynn.

He is survived by his first wife Emerise; daughter Brenda (Danny); four sons, Billy, Jimmy (Stacey), Ronnie and Micheal; grandchildren, Brandon Comeau, Sammy Flynn, Danielle (Mathieu Huard), Tara, Jeremy, Richelle, Christen, Jim, Kaylan and Jared Flynn; several great grandchildren and nieces.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his second wife Sandra Flynn and his sister Hilda Sherwood.

He drove taxi for many years, and loved to play cards in his earlier years. He loved to see his kids visit, just to tease and make jokes. He was quite the joker and loved to torment whoever crossed his path, he truly will be missed for that reason alone.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., Saint John, NB (634-1965), where visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Billy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Diabetes’ Association.
