Olive Marie Brown

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Olive Marie Brown of Saint John, NB, which occurred on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late George Willian “Bill” and Agnes Marie (Foley) Brown. She was a member of the CWL at Holy Trinity, an avid reader, and created very fine Lacework. Olive is survived by one brother: Melbourne “Mike” Brown of Saint John, NB; one sister: Margaret McGarrity of Peterborough, ON; one sister-in-law: Lois (Biddiscombe) Brown; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her siblings: William “Bill”, John “Jackie”, Constance “Connie”, Eileen, Rhona, Patrick, Elizabeth “Betty” and Mary.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St, Saint John, NB (634-1965) with visiting on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 2 – 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 12:10 PM.
