Lawrence "Lorry" Frederick Cassidy

1948-2017

Lawrence "Lorry" Frederick Cassidy
With appreciation for a life well-lived, the family of Lorry “Cass” Cassidy announces his passing, which occurred peacefully on his 69th birthday at the Saint John Regional Hospital. The day of his death is also his 17th wedding anniversary to his beloved wife, Marie Louise Doiron-Cassidy.

In addition to his wife Marie Louise, Lorry will be missed by his children: Corey and Colin Cassidy (Shawna), and Shelly McAlary (John); eight grandchildren; and the many friends he made throughout his journey. He was a friend of Bill W.

Lorry grew up on the Miramichi River, living the fun-filled life of a “river rat”, partaking in all the adventures that came his way. He was a country boy at heart, and loved drag racing, going for long drives, and spending time with his family and friends. He truly lived life to its fullest.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965). A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 am from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Miramichi. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the local AA chapter. Online condolences may be placed at www.FitzpatrickFH.com
