Ida Florence Worden
1920-2014
It is with great sadness the family announces the Passing of Ida
Florence (Iacobacci) Worden, wife of the late Reginald Robert Worden,
which occurred on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the York Care Centre,
Fredericton, NB. Born on July 19, 1920 in Cesoli, Italy she was a
daughter of the late Cesidio and Assunta (Asci) Iacobacci. Ida
emmigrated with her parents to Massachusetts in 1928. In 1962 Reg and
Ida moved their children to Hampton, NB. A wonderful loving mother and
grandmother, Ida shared her love with many, working for 18 years in
the Child Life Program at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Loving
mother of Lynn (Jim) Coleman of Sligo, PA; Leslie Carr of Fredericton,
NB; Bob (Lynn Hoyt) Worden of Hampton, NB. Nonna to Shelley, Keltie,
Chris, Sean, Lisa, Andrew, Ryan, Brandi and Luke. Big Nonna to 13
great-grandchildren and Auntie II to six nephews and one niece.
Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by great-grandson,
Matthew Coleman, son-in-law, David, sister, Gina and brother, George.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of York Care
Centre for the love and care shown to Ida in her final Years.

Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965) with
visiting on Sunday, April 20, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 21, 2014 from the Cathedral
of the Immaculate Conception at 12:10 pm. Interment will take place in
Preston Carr Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances to the Cathedral
Restoration and Waterloo Village Revitalization Project or a charity
of the donor choice would be appreciated by the family. Online
