Margaret "Margot" Elizabeth Ouellette
1938-2014
Surrounded by her loving family, the death of Margot Elizabeth (Olive)
Ouellette, wife of beloved husband Ronald J. Ouellette, occurred on
April 30, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint
John on July 15, 1938, Margot was the daughter of the late Otty and
Maude (Fraser) Olive. Besides her husband, she is survived by her
sons, Joseph Ouellette and Douglas Ouellette (Rosanne); and daughter,
Kathy McDonald (Bert), all of Saint John, NB; three grandchildren,
Luke Ouellette, Laurel and Jonah McDonald; sister-in-law, Rita Olive,
several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by one brother, Charles “Fraser” Olive. Margot graduated
from St. Vincent’s High School in 1956. She went on to work at
the Bank of Nova Scotia until her retirement. Margot enjoyed spending
time with the “Golden Girls”, which consists of some of
her fellow graduates. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima
parish. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr.
Steven Hull of 4BS Neurology ICU for their care and compassion.
To honor the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose of Lima
Church on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 12 noon with a reception to follow at
the Denis Morris Community Centre. Arrangements are under the care of
Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB
(634-1965). Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the West
Side Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences
