Wayne A. G. Saunders

The death of Wayne A. G. Saunders of Saint John occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Wayne was born in Saint John a son of Ronald W. (Carol Sewell) and Irene M. (Bastarache) Saunders.

He is survived by his parents, paternal grandparents Randolph and Florence Saunders, maternal grandmother Christina McIntrye, maternal great grandmother Irene Bastarache, daughter Emily Gallery-Saunders; five brothers: Ronald W. Jr. (Sandra Gallery), Michael, David, Blake Saunders and Luke Amero, two sisters: Sonya and Hailey Saunders. Several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Wayne is resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St. (634-1965). Visiting hours are Monday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 18 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral service to be held from Fitzpatrick’s Chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10 am. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations to a Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family. The family requests that children under the age of 10 not attend the visiting hours or the service.
