Sr. Regina Sieber

1921-2015

Sieber Sr. Regina Mary … The death of Sr. Regina Sieber occurred at the Ruth Ross residence on Sunday March 22, 2015. She was born in Saskatchewan and was a daughter of the late Matthew and Regina Sieber. Sr. Regina entered the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception on February 2, 1940. Sister taught kindergarten in Vancouver and served as a cook and seamstress in various convents there as well as in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. She also served as secretary at Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Returning to Saint John, she worked at Rocmaura Nursing Home in the dietary department. At St. Vincent’s Motherhouse, she served as seamstress and sacristan before moving to Ruth Ross Residence in 1997. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Anne (Clarence) Thurier, three brothers, Mr. Matthew Sieber, Mr. Thomas Sieber and Mr. Michael Sieber.
Sr. Sieber will be resting at Ruth Ross residence on Tuesday March 24, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.A vigil will be held at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 24, 2015 at 10:00am in Carmel Chapel at Ruth Ross residence. Interment will be in the Sisters of Charity plot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home (634-1965).www.fitzpatrick@nb.aibn.com
