Ruth Marlene Campbell

Campbell, Ruth M. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ruth Marlene Campbell which occurred on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Sussex she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Marie (Moore) Campbell. Ruth had graduated from Sussex High School and NBCC. She had worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital as a RNA for 17 years until her retirement. She is survived by brother: Francis Campbell of Halifax; six sisters: Linda Rogers (Robie) of Waterville, Sunbury Co., Doris Campbell of Sussex, Margaret Campbell of Hamilton, ON, Rowena Whelan (Ivan) of Quispamsis, Karen Campbell (Wayne) of Norton, NB, Shelly Hurtubise (Fern) of London, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother: Malcolm "Max" Campbell.

By the request of Ruth there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00 am from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965). Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers remembrances to Chrohn’s and Colitis Society or Bobby’s Hospice.
