Gloria Jean Dempsey

It is with great sadness the family of Gloria Jean Dempsey announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 22, 2016. She was born on February 1, 1948 in Saint John and was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Dwyer) Dempsey. She will be deeply missed by her son: Edward Ted Eidt (Karyn Conley); daughter: Linda Dempsey; brothers: Raymond Thompson, James Dempsey, Donnie Dempsey and David Dempsey; sisters: Margaret Dempsey and Lori Dempsey; grandchildren: Drake Lynch, Ashley Eidt and Brett Eidt; former husband: Edward Moore, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her brother Ronnie Dempsey. Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street (634-1965) with visiting on Thursday and Friday, February 25 & 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from Stella Maris Church, Bayside Drive at 11:00 am.
