Violet "Vi" McAndrews

It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Violet "Vi" Alice McAndrews (Jones) in her 101st year. Surrounded by her loving family, Mum and Nana passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Extendicare Starwood Nursing Home, Ottawa, ON. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the wife of the late Valentine G. McAndrews and daughter of the late Frederick and Selena Bertha (Elliott) Jones. Deeply cherished, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann (Patti) Matchem (Clarence) of Ottawa, her two grandchildren, Nick (Kavee) and Chris and several nieces and nephews. Violet was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A special heartfelt thank you to Pat Laming, for her support and compassion.
