Christina Elizabeth McGee
1947-2016
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Christina Elizabeth McGee, wife of James McGee which occurred on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at her residence. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Kathleen (Quinlan) Grangello. Before her retirement she was employed with Crosby Molasses. She was a member of Tops Chapter 1514 Rothesay, St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary and the Cathedral CWL. Besides her husband she is survived by two stepsons: Bruce McGee (Anca) of Toronto and Brian McGee (Heather) of Miramichi; one brother-in-law: Stan Merritt; one grandchild: Taliesin McGee; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers: Jack and Murray McDade; one sister: Mary Merritt.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) with visiting on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 12:10 PM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
