James Edward Dempsey

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James Edward Dempsey of Saint John, NB, which occurred on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Edward and Florence (Dwyer) Dempsey. He is survived by three brothers: Donnie of Lepreau, David of Saint John and Raymond Thompson of BC; two sisters: Margaret Dempsey of Saint John and Lori Oudbler of Sussex; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother: Ronald Dempsey and one sister: Gloria Dempsey.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) with visiting on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 12:05 pm. For those who wish remembrances to a Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
