Mildred E. Butler
BUTLER-the death of Mildred E. Butler occurred peacefully at Rocmaura
Nursing Home on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Millie was born in Norton, on
March 8, 1922, a daughter of the late E. Heber and Ethel (Sherwood)
Richardson. She will be remembered for her generosity, positive
outlook, and hr wonderful sense of humour. Mildred was a role model
for her children and valued hr friends, family, and community. She had
a rich and full life and will always be remembered, missed, and loved.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Walter L. Butler, in
1985; her daughter, Carol (Jim) Coward of Trenton, Ont.; her four
brothers, Lloyd, Frederick, Albert, and Edward; and her three sisters,
Estell, Gertrude, and Edna. She is survived by her son, Dr. David
(Lorie) Butler of Vancouver; and her daughter, Catherine (David)
Hayward of Saint John. She is remembered by her 11 grandchildren, Dr.
David Coward, and Martha(Coward) Levesque; Dr. Michael, Dr. Andrea,
Lauren, Courtney, Devon, and Darcy Butler, and Barbara (Hayward) West,
Jenny, and Elizabeth Hayward; and several great-grandchildren. At her
request, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or
the charity of your choice. Interment will take place in Holy Cross
Cemetery at a time to be announced.
