Daniel Michael Quinlan
QUINLAN-the death of Daniel Michael Quinlan of Willow Grove
occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 17,
2010 following a period of failing health. Mr. Quinlan was born in
Saint John, a son of the late Grattan and Margaret (McAuley) Quinlan.
He had been employed as a longshoreman and lumberman until his
retirement a number of years ago and was a member of the International
Longshoremen's Association Local 273. He was predeceased by four
brothers, Walter, Gordon, Arthur, and Leo James Quinlan (in infancy);
two sisters, Carmel Dallon and Theresa Veronica Quinlan (in infancy);
and two brothers- in-law, Ralph V. Cosman and Kenneth G. Dallon. He is
survived by two brothers, Harold (Harriett) and Bernard (Jean), both
of Saint John; one sister, Marjorie Cosman of Saint John; one
sister-in-law, Doris Quinlan of Saint John; and several nieces and
nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home,
100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
St. Joseph's Church, Loch Lomond Rd., on Wednesday morning at eleven
o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Golden
Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Church Building
Fund; the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation; the Alzheimer
Society of NB; or the charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
