Elsie J. Nurse

NURSE-the death of Elsie J. Nurse, widow of Clarence Nurse, occurred at St. John & St. Stephen Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Elsie was born July 8,1916 at Salmon Creek, N.B.,a daughter of the late Robinson and Lulu (Dykeman) Watson, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Marjorie; her step-mother, Stella Watson; and a half-sister, Dorothy Swift. She is survived by four sons, Peter, Arthur (Linda), David (Anna), and John (Sharon), all of Saint John; two daughters, Dorothy Hansen (Victor) of Saint John, and Margaret Little (Terrence) of Surrey, B.C.; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by those whom she loved as "Elsie Jane Watson Fiddler Saco Nana's Little Girl". Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 9. Service will be held at North Side Assembly, 363 Millidge Ave., on Monday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
