Benjamin J. Perry
PERRY-the death Benjamin J. Perry occurred at Ridgewood
Veterans' Wing, Saint John, on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Mr. Perry was
born in Rogersville, a son of the late Calixte and Adele (Thibodeau)
Perry. He lived the greater part of his life in Saint John where he
had been employed as a plumber with Crawford Plumbing. He had served
overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War. He
was predeceased by two brothers, William and Gerald, and three
sisters, Mary, Vangie, and Lucy. He is survived by a son, Benjamin Jr.
of California; three daughters, Alice Evans of Abbotsford, B.C., and
Marilyn Roy and Helen MacDonald, both of Surrey, B.C.; four sisters,
Minnie LeBlanc of Aurora, Ont., Jean Peterson of Fredericton, and
Alice and Rita Landry, both of Caraquet; and several grandchildren,
nieces, and nephews.Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100
Waterloo St., Saint John, with visiting on Thursday from 12:30 PM
until service at 1:30 PM.Interment will take place in the Field of
Honour in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
charity of your choice would be appreciated.
