David A. Hudson

HUDSON-the death of David A. Hudson of James Renforth Drive, husband of Ruth I. (McKeller) Hudson, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, October 25, 2010. Mr. Hudson was born in Saint John on June 17, 1938, a son of the late William and Harriet (Maxwell) Hudson. He had served with the Royal Canadian Army. He had been employed at the Saint John Dry Dock and was a member of the Iron Workers Union. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Hudson, in 2007. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, John Arthur (Darlene) of Calgary, and William of Rothesay; one daughter, Laurie Morrell of Quispamsis; one sister, Mary Miller of Saint John; three grandchildren, Alex Hudson, Hayley Morrell, and Ashley Morrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday & Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Time and place of service will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
