Laureen E. Shonaman

SHONAMAN-the death of Laureen E. Shonaman of Rothesay, widow of Ronald C. Shonaman, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Mrs. Shonaman was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (Downey) Lamont, and had been employed as head cashier at Towers Dept. Store until her retirement a number of years ago. She is survived by four sons, Ronald (Cathy) of Sussex, Walter of Saint John, Melville (Eileen) of Rothesay, and James (Francine) of Saint John; two daughters, Marilyn Shonaman of Hampton and Marie Shonaman of Rothesay; three brothers, Eric (Barb) Lamont, Ian
(Jean) Lamont , and George (Frances) Lamont, all of Saint John; 11 grandchildren, including Amanda Shonaman; and several great-grandchildren.

Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at ten o'clock.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Golden Grove.
