Mary M. Harrigan

HARRIGAN-the death Mary M. Harrigan, widow of Paul Harrigan, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Monday, February 7, 2011. Mary was born in Petersville, a daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Coll) Hogan. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy and had been a member of St. Elizabeth's Society and the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by a son, Paul (Janet) of Saskatoon; four daughters, Bernadette (Robert) Purcell of Elmsdale, N.S., Mary Adele Wallace of Saint John, Jane Harrigan of Toronto, and Kathryn (Kelly) Harrigan-Hards of Toronto; five grandchildren, Cynthia (Dave) Starzomski, Jennifer Wallace, Ian Wallace, Allison Purcell, and Anthony Purcell; three great-grandchildren, Jared Wallace, Lukas Starzomski, and Ryan Starzomski; her son-in-law, John Wallace of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews.

      There will be no public visitation at the funeral home at the request of the family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Thursday at twelve o'clock noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Rocmaura Foundation would be appreciated.
