John L. Maxwell

MAXWELL-the death of John L. Maxwell of 9 Polaris Ct. occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, February 21, 2011. John was born in Saint John, a son of the late J. Leonard and Elizabeth F. (Magee) Maxwell. He was a graduate of St. Malachy's High School and New Brunswick Teachers' College. He had been a teacher and school principal.

He was predeceased by his twin-brother, David. He is survived by his sister, Anne E. (F. Allison) Wrynn of Fredericton; a niece, Susan Maxwell of Grafton, N.B.; two nephews, Colin Wrynn of Kanata, Ont., and Ian Wrynn of Prince George, B.C.

By family request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday at 12:05 PM Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
