ANDREWS, M. ALICE- M. Alice Andrews, wife of Charles D. Andrews (54 years), passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Mrs. Andrews was born in Saint John on Feb 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Ougler) Whytewood, Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Charles (Tammy) of Hampton, John (Michelle) of Alliston, Ont., and Dana of Edmonton, Alb; three daughters, Sandra (Douglas) Devenne, Loretta (Thomas) Forgrave, and Hope (Shaun) Kokotailo, all of Saint John; two sisters, Nancy Gormley of Willow Grove, and Bonny (Hazen) Carson of Browns Flat; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday afternoon at 12:05. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the N.B. Lung Association would be appreciated.
