McCANN, Mary G.-It is with sadness that the family of Mary Gertrude McCann announce her death on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Mary was born in Enniskillen, a daughter of the late John and Katherine (McAloon) McCann. She worked as a waitress at the White House Lodge and Dan's Restaurant. She was well known at the City Market which for many years she visited daily. She was predeceased by brothers James, Charles, Clarence, and Alfred; and sisters Margaret, Ada, Agnes, Myrtle, and Grace. Mary is survived by her sister, Ruth McCann; special niece, Carol McNamee; and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday afternoon at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
