Mary Evelyn EVANS

EVANS, Mary Evelyn,- Mary E. Evans passed away at Loch Lomond Villa on Thursday, July 7, 2011. Born in Point Edward, N.S. to the late Frederick and Margaret (Cormier) White. She lived in Saint John most of her life.
She had been employed at McCready's Pickles,
Zellers, Crosby's Molasses, and Atlantic Sugar. She was known for her
great sense of humour and loved to play bingo. She is survived by her
son, Jack (Marilyn) Evans of Quispamsis; her grandchildren, Krista
(Darren) Bishop of Quispamsis, and Gregory (Robin) Evans of Rothesay;
her great-grandchildren, Jillian and Andrew Bishop, and Laura and
Sarah Evans; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
her husband, John Joseph Evans; her companion, Sidney Baxter; her
sisters, Avia Moran, Gertrude McHarg, and Bernice Kelly; and her
brothers, Gervais and Archabald White.
Resting at
Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday afternoon at
12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
