Constance Eileen Stanton
STANTON- The death of Constance Eileen Stanton, widow of William C. Stanton occurred on Thursday August 18, 2011 at Rocmaura Nursing Home.
Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late James
Edward and Mary Regina (Keenan) Tolan. Constance was employed for many
years as the private secretary to Mr. Sweeney at the Admiral Beatty
Hotel, and later she was a secretary at the National Harbours Board.
Constance was predeceased by her husband William C. IN 1998, one
brother, Dr. Ronald Tolan, and one sister, Dorothy Tolan in infancy,
she is survived by one sister, Phyllis Daley, of Dartmouth, N.S., and
one sister-in-law Pauline Tolan, of Toronto, Ont, and several nieces
and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral
Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Monday
August 22, 2011 for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church
at 12 o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Donations to Rocmaura Nursing home or the Alzheimers society would be
appreciated by the family.
