Women's League, and often took responsibility for training the altar
boys and caring for the altar cloths and vestments in her parish. Upon
her husband's retirement from the military, the family returned to
their farm in Morrell Siding, N.B. With seven children of school-age,
Yvette went to work for J. Clark & Sons Chevrolet in Grand
Falls where, with her aptitude for finance, she worked as Office
Manager. Following retirement, Don and Yvette traveled many times
across Canada visiting friends and relatives, moved to Saint John
after selling their home, and spent many winters in Florida where they
welcomed family and friends into their warm abode. In addition she was
very active with the Seagulls of Market Square Senior Citizens Club,
obtaining many grants to support activities at the club. Yvette was
very active at the Cathedral, serving as a lector, communion minister,
and sacristan. Her Catholic faith was always first in her life and
never a day went by without an hour of prayerful devotion and daily
