Mary Constance "Connie" Magee

1919-2012

The death of Mary "Connie" C. Magee of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, August 20, 2012. She was born in Saint John on February 25, 1919 and was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Winslow) Magee.

Connie was employed at the Royal Bank of Canada for thirty-two years before working at the New Freeman for seven years until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the CWL and the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxillary.

Survived by her sister, Sister Eleanor Magee, one niece; Helen Cochrane, one nephew; Bill Magee as well as one great niece and five great nephews.

Connie is predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Winslow, Morris, and Rev. J. Patrick Magee, sisters; Margaret Sincennes, Sister Jean Magee and Sister Louise Magee.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 2:00 PM.
