David "Wayne" Rogers (Doiron)

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Rogers announce his death, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born March 14, 1955, he was a son of the late Martin Doiron and Eva Jones. Wayne was the husband of his beloved Dolly Rogers, and they were about to celebrate their 10^th wedding anniversary later this year. Wayne will be remembered as a great comedian who loved playing his guitar and singing karaoke. He was also a member of Adanac.

Besides his wife, Wayne is survived by his daughter, Kim; step-son, Billy; 2 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sister, Wanda; brothers: Terry, Chris, Shane, Glen, and Kevin; his Uncle Ernest; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, Aunt Betty, and Uncle Art.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 and Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
