Edmond Joseph Savoy

The death of Edmond Joseph Savoy of Saint John, husband of the late, Eileen (Malley) Savoy, occurred on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 18, 1926, in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Basil and Margaret (Vautour) Savoy.

He enjoyed music and playing the mouth organ.

Edmond is survived by his daughters; Shirley Aspen (John) of Saint John and Eva Feddery of Saint John, his sister; Margaret Howe (Benjamin) of Saint John and five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, Edmond was predeceased by his sister, Mary Harris, and Eva Savoy and his brothers; Albert, and Edward.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12:10 PM. Interment to take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, would be appreciated
