Irvine Hebert

Hebert Irvine John - The death of Irvine Hebert of Saint John occurred on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing at the age of 93. He was born in McNamee, NB on December 10, 1919 and was the son of the late Adelphi and Clara Hebert and husband of the late Joan (Garnett) Hebert. Irvine was employed with Continental Cans for approximately 25 years. He enjoyed all types of music and playing several instruments. Irvine was an Army Veteran and belonged to Legion Branch #69. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his sister in law, Elsie Garnett, several nieces and nephews as well as his cat companion Tiger.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 12:10 PM from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Ridgewood Veterans Wing would be appreciated by the family.
