Edith Richard

Richard, Edith Marie Ann – The death of Edith Richard occurred peacefully at her home on Wednesday September 18, 2013. She was born in St. Charles, NB and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Albertine Richard. Edith was employed with as a clerk with Revenue Canada for approximately 16 years until her retirement in 1988. Edith was a very devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds and watching her beloved Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Clark of Brockville, ON; Lola Campbell of Toronto, ON; Mary-Lou Hodgson (Dwain) of Calgary, AB; Laurie Campbell-Bonang (Jeff) of Porter’s Lake, NS and Jackie Campbell (Dan Doiron) of Saint John. Edith is survived by one sister Cecile Boudreau of Fredericton, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 17 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Rita Shannon, brother Larry Richard and son in law Bob Clark.

Edith will be forever loved and forever missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm. at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965). A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 11:00am from St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Hampton.
