Agnes Mailman

The death of Agnes Mailman occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 25, 2013. She was born in Saint John and was the wife of the late Robert Mailman and daughter of the late John and Alice Manuel. Agnes was a person of great faith and was a parishioner of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church for many years. Some of Agnes’s enjoyments included cards and bingo. She attended the Union Street Bingo in her earlier years then continued TV Bingo more recently. She is survived by her children, Carol Reid (and the late Robert Reid), Bobby Mailman (Brenda), John Mailman (Dianne), Angus Mailman (Sandra), Pauline Carson (Fred), Wayne Mailman (Violet), Lena Pelletier (Gerald), Lucy Pearman (Robert), Mary Daigle (Gilles), Brenda Hudson, Debbie Finlay (Tony), Harold Mailman (Leona), David Mailman (Nicole) and Richard Mailman (Samantha). Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jimmy, five grandchildren and her son in law Robert.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street (634-1965) with visiting on Friday September 27, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday at 9am followed by interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
