Helen Catherine McLean
1915-2014
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Helen
Catherine (Conlogue) McLean, wife of the late Harold Edward McLean,
which occurred on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Saint John Regional
Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 30, 1915 she was a daughter of
the late Daniel and Ethel (Murphy) Conlogue. Helen is survived by one
son, Andrew McLean of Halifax, NS; two daughters, Sally McNulty of
Halifax, NS and Martha McLean of Saint John, NB; one sister, Angela
McCarthy of Saint John, NB; five grandchildren, Mya and Bridgid
McNulty and Jennifer Brown (Michael), Kate McLean and Andrea Mal
(Andy); one great-grandson, Maverick Brown. Besides her husband and
parents she was predeceased by one brother, Louis; four sisters, Jean,
Madeline, Bernadine and Clare.
The Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. Peter’s Church on Monday March, 31, 2014. Interment took place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965).
