Sarah Mary Anne Chaisson
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Sarah Mary Anne (Thomas) Chaisson, the last surviving member of her immediate family, wife of the late Joseph Chaisson, which occurred on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Kennebec Manor. Born in Lagaceville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Bertha (LeBreton) Thomas. Sarah was a member of St. Pius X Church. She is survived by two sons: Brian (Teresa) and Micheal (Stephanie) both of Quispamsis; four daughters: Joanne Chaisson, Gail MacQueen, Sharon Chaisson all of Saint John, and Lorraine Gadel (Jaymie) of ON; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by two brothers: Hennessey and Joseph; one sister: Elizabeth Burr.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634-1965) with visiting on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from St. Pius X at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
